I have an outline for my dissertation topic. And i’m wondering what to do next. Should I start looking into the exam process? What does that require?

Hopefully soon I will get together with some fellow grad students and ask for some help. I know of several other women in the same boat, so we are working together to figure out the next step. I’ll keep you posted.

I’m trying to figure out just exactly what steps to take and so I wrote up an outline. I then sent the outline to friends and family that I trust. It was my way of asking for permission. I have yet to asked for permission from the “elders” of the community. Unfortunately there are no clear cut elders. If I were to use a decolonialized methodology, I would ask them for permission first. So I used the next best thing, my family and friends. And so I’m waiting for a reply.
